Jiankang Cun

The Jiankang Cun (literally: “the Healthy Village”. Located in Tianmen City, Hubei Province, China) is the village belongs to my mom, and it’s the place where I grew up. Over there, together with my grandmother, I spent most of my childhood in nature and the fields. If I need to go back to my hometown, it will be my only place to go. This collection of photo is part of the memory of Jiankang Cun from 2009 to 2013.

From 2015 to the present (2019), I have not returned to the Jiankang Cun anymore.

¹The first chemical equation in the background of this site shows the synthesis of ethyl acetate. I spent my childhood living at my uncle's chemical factory in Nanchang. Ethyl acetate is an essential raw material used in the production of pharmaceutical intermediates, and I feature it here to commemorate that innocent time.
